ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

1. Purpose

This document intends to provide general administrative arrangements of the ADSOM WG and ADSOM-Plus WG meetings.

2. Meeting Venue

3. Hospitality

The host will cover the costs of the meeting facilities, conference meals and transportation connected to the program. All other costs of participation (airfares, accommodation etc) shall be borne by the participants.

5. Bilateral meeting

Bilateral meeting rooms will be made available at the Hotel during the meetings. Any delegation who wishes to utilize a bilateral meeting room, please contact our 10th ADMM Secretariat as provided in this document.

6. Transportation

The host will provide local transportation in Luang Pranbang from 19-24 February 2016 including transfers to and from the airport.

7. Medical Facilities

Basic medical facilities will be provided round the clock during the meetings.

8. Currency

Most internationally recognized currencies and travelers’ checks can be exchanged at commercial banks, hotels and Luang Prabang International Airport. Credit cards are also accepted in some local hotels, restaurants and shops. The exchange rate of US$1 is approximately equivalent to 8,000 Lao Kip.

9. Registration

The delegates are requested to return the Registration Form to the 10th ADMM Secretariat by 1st February 2016.

10. Attire

The dress code for the meeting is lounge suit / working military uniform. Participants are also requested to wear smart casual for Welcome Dinner.

11. Electricity

Electricity plugs in Lao P.D.R may be different from some other countries. The electricity current is 220 V. The plug type often used in Lao P.D.R is shown below.

 

 

 

 

12. Weather

The weather in Luang Prabang in February is a cool dry season with the average temperature of between 15 – 31 Degrees Celsius.
